Singles Pleasing the Lord has a variety of programs that minister and serve the single adult community.  Our programs are designed to help single adults develop authentic and genuine intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.  

 

As single adults avail themselves to our programs and services they will be able to experience sexual and emotional purity, soul and financial prosperity, discovery of purpose, implementation of purpose, fulfillment from purpose and those that are called to marriage will receive biblical insight into how to date, have successful relationships and prepare for biblically based satan proof marriages.

 

Singles Pleasing the Lord is convinced that the impact of developing healthy single adults is far-reaching for our world.  Healthy single adults are significant contributors in making our world a better place to live in whether they are found in ministry, business, politics, education, health, social service, arts or entertainment.  Healthy single adults also make the best marriage partners.  They create biblically based satan proof marriages and these marriages produce healthy families, vibrant communities and powerful local churches.

 

The testimonies of single adults that have benefited from our programs is compelling.  They validate God uses the ministry to effectively serve the single adult community. 

 

Discipleship and Training Programs

These programs cover topics such as how to establish intimacy with Jesus Christ, the purpose of your season of singleness, dealing with rejection, bitterness and unforgiveness, how to identify soul ties and get rid of them, how to deal with loneliness, how to address masturbation, pornography, fornication, same sex attractions and other sexual perversion that confronts single adults, how to discover and implement your God-given purpose, biblical insight into how to date, develop relationships and prepare for marriage and how to achieve and maintain financial stability and excellence.

Thousands of single adults all over the world have taken advantage of these programs.  The programs are:

 

Live Stream Teachings:  Regular teaching programs via live social media formats that provide biblically sound and practical teaching typically done by Debbie and Pastor Julius for single adults around the globe.  Single adults that regularly avail themselves to these teachings grow and mature during their season of singleness.

 

In Person Bible Studies:  These bible studies are held onsite in the Chicagoland area.  They provide biblcailly sound and and practical teaching typically done by Debbie and Pastor Julius.  In addition to the Bible teaching they also provide an opportuinty for single adults to have fellowship with one another and develop community.

 

Women's Discipleship and Accountability Groups:  This is a ten month curriculum based program for women that desire to be supported in their journey of living sexually and emotionally pure.  The program allows single women to develop sexual and emotional purity plans and receive group accountability in implementing their plans. 

The group leaders have been trained in discipleship and accountability and successfully completed the program themselves.

 

Bible Study Discussion Groups - Let's Talk It Out:  These are interactive forums that provide single adults with the opportunity to discuss and digest the biblical truth they are being taught.  They are able to ask questions, share and here the concerns of other single adults.  They are also afforded the opportunity to develop a wholesome community with other Christian singles all over the world.

 

Conferences and Online Classes:  The Women's Discipleship and Accountability Group host a regular conference for single women.  The theme is: "The Priceless and Powerful Single Woman's Conference."  Online classes are offered throughout the year such as "The Purpose Clinic" which provides practical insight into how to discover your purpose, "Preparing your Finances for Marriage" which helps single adults understand how to ready their finances for marriage, "Getting Your Life Back on Track" a healing seminar for those that have gone through a divorce or significant relatonship break-up, Becoming Marriage Material for those that desire to be married and what to make sure they are developing the correct skill set.  Dating a person of interest is not a prerequisite to take this online class.

We also conduct a luncheon for widows to allow them a venue to address their grief and learn how to be single again and workshops for single parents that provide them with practical resources such as gift cards at Christmas and advice on how to parent successfully as a single parent.

 

Prayer

We recognize prayer is a vital spiritual discipline that must be made availalbe to single adults. Prayer makes tremendous and dynamic power availalbe to single adults as they navigate through the issues of living the single life.  Prayer also increases the intimacy that single adults are able to develop with Jesus Christ.

We have prayer groups and special times of prayer. They are:

Prayer for Single Men

Prayer for Single Parents 

Share and Prayer for Single Women.

Corporate prayer

Jump Start.  This is an online prayer opportunity for single adults to tap into the power of prayer as they begin their new year.  

Half Night of Prayer:  This an onsite prayer meeting for single adults where they tap into the power of prayer 

 

Sexual Purity Month

Annually during the month of June we put a special emphasis on sexual purity highlighting the need for single adults to endeavor with the help of the Lord to live sexually pure - freedom from sexually immorality in thought, word indeed.  We host events throughout the month which include a symposium, corporate prayer and a fellowship event such as a picnic or luncheon.  We also focus all our teaching and training on sexual purity during this time.

 

Outreach

Working in conjuction with our sister organization Saving Peoples Lives we afford single adults the opportunity to participate in outreach activities that include national and international mission trips and serving in a variety of capacities in the local community.  This outreach provides fulfillment, productivity and impact.
